I got their name from feedback on the Nextdoor site. They were very good with communication as we negotiated the price. Their work was timely despite several days of rain. They prepped by pressure washing the house and the results just from that were amazing. Would not hesitate to use them again

JV Painting did an outstanding job, from beginning to end, on the re-staining of our house. We chose them not only because their price was reasonable compared with others but also for the professionalism of their communication. Unlike most other contractors, they have a designated point person (Jonathan), whose job is to communicate with customers. We could always get ahold of him with questions or concerns, and always received prompt replies to emails and messages—it was such a relief after other contractors we’ve worked with, to work with someone so reliable. Jonathan was amenable, attentive and eager to provide great customer service. They started the job exactly when they said they would and completed it at the promised time. While completing the project efficiently, they also managed to give it an extraordinary amount of detailed, caring attention. We had some complicated spaces and specific requirements for our house washing, sanding and staining, and they attended to all of those with great respect, skill and thoughtfulness. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist and pays close attention to work getting done, but even he was continually impressed by the details they noticed and the way they treated our house exterior almost like a fine woodworking project. And they were the sweetest people— positive, patient, sincerely kind and interested in doing their best for us. We joked that we would miss them when they were done. Jv painting is a professional company. They explained to me the process of preping my house by pressure washing it, sanded the wood and painted all my exterior home. They answer all my questions and kept me informed of everything. I love there work so much that I added more work. Jonathan refinished my garage with marble epoxy flooring and the results were 10/10! If you want someone responsible this is the company you want! I had 4 other estimates and Jonathan showed me all his work and the level of detail that they put in there work is impressive we will definitely hire them again.

JV painting Services was helpful with my project they went above and beyond from what I was expecting. they remove the old roof and put a new one. Pressure washed and painted all the exterior of the home including the porch. I also wanted to paint the interior walls, ceiling, trim, cabinets and they stain our floors. Overall our experience was great I highly recommend them they are professional and will help you with all your project.

They came out right away and gave a fair estimate in writing. We scheduled the job, and they showed up on time exactly the days they said they would. The finished job was excellent! They re-stained our back deck (same color) painted all of our foundation stucco (see photos), re-stained our front porch to match the stucco, and painted our front door and garage door to match our red shake siding accents. They were very careful with our plants near the house. And their cleanup made it look like they were never here. HIGHLY recommend!!

Where to start….. I would like to make this review a little different than just saying Jon and his workers did a great job, were very trustworthy, easy to work with, professional, and painted well. They can also fix/replace rotten wood or trim pieces which not every painting service can or will do. That would be an easy review to write, and accurate. I highly recommend JV Painting to anyone seeking those qualities in a painter. For me, this journey began like many, with a need to paint, and some rotten trim pieces and loose siding that needed help. On the quotes received, priced varied widely. The other part that varied were how the painters presented themselves, and the time they took to assess the job. It may sound odd, but Jon was one of very few that provided his quote in writing. Sounds small but the bottom line is painting a home is expensive, and trust is earned, not given. Especially when you do not know who you are dealing with. An example.. during the time we were trying to decide who to use, Jon met us at a home he was painting on a Sunday. Said home was a half hour drive for each of us. He did not have to do that. But, he did. We bought our home in 2019 and it was built in 2008, still had the original paint. We knew the colors and it was Benjamin Moore paint. We wanted to keep the same colors and preferred their higher end Aura paint. Yes, the paint costs more than most but the extra paint cost was about 1.5% of the total price paid. Jon made a lot of effort getting the paint from BM. And provided a gallon of trim and siding touch up paint when they finished. It was not cheap paint. Again, small thing but not something he had to do. The painters showed up when they were expected, called when weather was not conducive to painting, and did not paint when temperatures dropped lower than I was comfortable with. They cleane dup each day they worked and all were friendly. No tto mention they knew how to paint! Jon also stopped by frequently to watch over their work and progress. Jon earned our trust, provided a good service. Painting is expensive, especially when you have workers that are bonded and insured. But, he was not the highest quote that we received and overall I think he earned his price without question. Very happy with his services and would use again if needed.

We needed to have our deck refinished and Jonathan and his team were great to work with. Very professional, reasonbly priced, they did great work and finished on budget on time. Here are some before and after pictures. I hight recommend JV Painting!

We used them for exterior, and interior painting, deck staining, shutters, and some decorative shingles. They were great! Would use again. They work quickly, but do a really nice job. Price was very reasonable.

The JV painting team was extraordinary; their work was very high quality, on-time and on budget! In the course of 2 weeks, they painted our kitchen cabinets and walls, dining room walls and wood paneling, and the paneling in our foyer. Jonathon’s team arrived on the first day with 5 workers! to cover and protect the areas where they would not be painting. The dining room walls (where wallpaper had been removed) were sanded, mudded and sanded again, followed by at least 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint. The wood paneling was sanded, primed with 2 coats and painted with 2 coats. The kitchen cabinet doors were removed and sanded, primed and painted offsite. The cabinet boxes were similarly sanded, primed and painted in place. Hinges were removed and also painted to match. Then everything was reinstalled perfectly. We decided to paint the kitchen walls to match because the cabinets looked so good! After the final inspection, they even came back to touch up 2 items I didn’t notice until after they left. The primary team of David and Claudia, supervised by Samuel and Jonathon, were punctual and hard-working. At the beginning of each day, they told me what they were going to do, and at the end of the day they showed me their completed work along with their plan for the next day. I have never had workers be so true-to-their word, kind, respectful and thorough. As we have renovated our house over the past 2 1/2 years, we have had multiple contractors, electricians, plumbers, tile installers, HVAC installers, painters, appliance repair men, and window installers. While some have been very good, none compare to the overall excellence of JV Painting’s work. I give them my highest recommendation!

Jonathan and his team were excellent! We are extremely satisfied with their work. They replaced the roof of our lake house, put up new drywall ceilings, removed and replaced moldy insulation , as well as painted the interior. I recently had my house painted by JV Painting Company LLC. It wasn't an easy job. My house is 50 years old, never been painted. First had to be thoroughly pressure washed. Next, it had to be caulked, many places were not easily assessible, they took their time to caulk cracks, carpenter bee damage,and repair other age related places. They then primed and painted. They communicated with me every step of the process.They were respectful, conscientious, and attentive to details.They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

After recent hurricane we had retaining wall and sidewalk damage. Jonathan came and gave us assurance he would build a better wall and sidewalk. We received a fair quote with assurance there would be no addition or surprise costs. As you can see from the pictures they removed the damaged wall and sidewalk and rebuilt the wall and sidewalk with quality material. Distributed the dirt that was a mess after the hugh tree and root damage. When they were finished they seeded the dirt and removed all debri. We could not be happier. Thank you for a job WELL done.

This was a totally excellent experience from start to finish. Every detail was meticulously finished and crafted. The initial response to my inquiry was rapid (within 24 hours as stated), an excellent detailed quote was provided again within 24 hours. From insulation to sheetrock to painting and then trim successive teams worked sometimes 12 hour days. The teams were very friendly and the craftsmanship was excellent. Ee could not have hoped for better.

JV Painting exceeded expectations by restoring the interior of our garage and the exterior of our 3600 sq ft home to look like new. Numerous thorough, positive Google reviews are what led us to contact JV Painting for a quote. Let me tell you, the glowing reviews are all true. Jonathan and his business partner Samuel, and team worked diligently, first on the interior of our garage (it looks fabulous now), then on the exterior of our home (looks like a pristine new build home). Both jobs were challenging as the house had not been painted in 22 years. The garage has lots of shelves, and multiple cabinets. They fastidiously took off doors and hinges, prepped and ultimately gave us a beautiful new look and installed the new hinges we purchased too! The exterior of our home has many different surfaces (stucco, both rough and smooth sawn fir trim and facia, OSB soffits AND 97 metal (aluminum sash window). Before starting the house painting, we were very impressed that Jonathon took the time to bring the Sherwin Williams paint expert out to consult on the best options/quality for the aesthetic we were seeking. Two thumbs up for that. With winter painting we had lots of weather interruptions but Jonathon was great with communication so we could plan our lives without wondering if the painters were coming that day. For the moment we meet Samuel we knew we were in the hands of a competent expert. He and his team worked methodically and neatly. They did extensive prep and never cut a corner. The team always went above and beyond, doing more than expected. And a bonus was the team was super cohesive. JV painting does intensive prep, and they take a careful and thorough approach. They are respectful of property and clean up at the end of each day. At the end of the job, we had a walk through, but it was clear they had already done a very thorough walkthrough as it was just about as close to perfection as one can get. And as I said earlier in both the garage interior and house exterior they went above and beyond painting things we hadn’t even thought about but that made sense for the home. Jonathan and his team are hands down the painting company you should hire. They treated our 150 year-old family farmhouse with excellent care and precision, going above and beyond in terms of detail, time, and quality. They took the initiative to replace rotted out exterior wood and sanded all remaining good wood to look new before priming and painting with several coats. Interior walls were patched and sanded professionally so that drywall looks new. His team cleaned up afterwards to leave it looking as if no one was ever there but the magic painting fairies. 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️ Best of all, Jonathan was an excellent communicator. Jonathan and his teams were very professional and did an excellent job with our interior painting projects. He estimated it would take 4 to 5 days, but his teams finished ahead of time. I highly recommend this company! they did a 10 out of 10! they pressure wash and painted all the exterior. painted all the interior walls trim and painted my cabinet, lastly they did and epoxy job on my garage and I completely loved it!

Jonathan and Samuel and team did a fantastic job bringing a house and wrap around deck back to life after years of weathering and disrepair. They pressure washed, sanded and repaired or replaced damaged decking. They had to deal with weather that delayed completion but the never strayed from their professional approach of waiting a full day between coats of paint or waiting until all surfaces were completely dry before applying paint. They did a wonderful job and were a pleasure and joy to work with!

Jonathan and his team were punctual, friendly and professional. They worked hard at getting the painting done in a timely manner before our holiday guests arrived. I had planned on only having them paint two rooms and Jonathan said they did not use as much paint as they thought they would need in the estimate and he credited us for the difference which, in my opinion, proved their character for being honest and fair. We then hired him to paint another room and ceilings. They did a very nice job and the house looks so much better!

I don't generally leave reviews unless the business is beyond exceptional in terms of quality & customer service, and that was my experience with Jonathan & his crew. They did outstanding work at a reasonable price, finished everything on time, and kept me aware of everything that was going on. They went above and beyond to make my moving-related painting much less stressful than it would have been otherwise. This business is reliable and operated with a sense of integrity. jonathan’s crew was downright awesome from his first very prompt reply to the last couple days of finishing touches. looking back over these past several weeks, a few things stand out which made ALL the difference to us — firstly, the crew was lovely to have around those many days painting the exterior of our home and two other structures. their bid was competitive. they were meticulous, mannerly and patient with us. by that i mean helpful with last minute color tweaks :) they came on-time every non-rainy day and were very respectful of our landscaping, especially appreciated. jonathan and sam always responsive via text. and best of all, they take pride in their work. we much enjoyed working with this small local family biz — our many thanks to this great crew ! we’ll likely ask jonathan for a bid this fall re interior painting.

We had an amazing experience with JV Painting Services. After purchasing our new house, we were eager to have the popcorn ceiling removed and the paint redone as the previous owners had left many holes in the walls. JV Painting were able not only to help us meet our timetable before our movers arrived, but did an excellent job. The popcorn ceiling was painstakingly removed, wallpaper steamed off, and the walls patched and painted. Jonathan, one of the owners, is a total professional who is passionate about getting everything right. They exceeded our expectations, finished the job early, and left the house completely immaculate. We certainly recommend them to anyone needing painters and would hire them again.

Jonathan, Alejandro and Paulo were extremely professional, helpful and courteous all the way through our deck painting project. The results are phenomenal. This is a team of knowledgeable and thorough painters. Our deck area is large. The JV Painting team was patient with us and provided additional samples we requested as we made our color decision. We needed some repair work done as part of the project, and the carpenter, who works with JV did a great job. I couldn't be any more pleased. Jonathan and his team were/are very professional. They arrived each day at the specified time (HUGE PLUS!) The work is just PHENOMENAL! Working with Jonathan and his team was an absolute pleasure. They were all very professional and nice. The team showed up on time were attentive to detail as they worked on the entire job from start to finish. I didn’t realize how much repair work was actually needed to prep for the painting. Jonathan’s team came up with the plan and got all of the repairs done as well. We decided to replace a few beams before the painting and of course JV Painting Services came to the rescue. I would highly recommend JC Painting - here's why. About 4 weeks prior to moving into a 4,000" house, I needed to line-up a painter so that I could have the houses completely repainted - ceiling, walls, trim and highlights. This was a complex job, made even more so because I needed to protect the floors and carpets that were in excellent condition. The house is an older home with some interesting challenges - old dark paint on ceilings and many repairs required. Jonathan provided me references and I researched their work. My experienced confirmed the researched I did- and more so! Jonathan, and his partner descended on the house in the afternoon post the closing. They spent over 2 days completely protecting all non-painting surfaces and they delivered on time. The workmanship was excellent, attention to detail was impressive. I was overwhelmed with the outcome. I have bought a number of houses in my time, all requiring remodeling - I can honestly say this crew were the best. I have them lined up to do my exterior next year. I can highly recommend this team.
